Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.01181 | $0.01181 |
| Opus 5.5 | $0.00472 | $0.00472 |
| Sonnet 5.5 | $0.00236 | $0.00236 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00118 | $0.00118 |
Grade A, and why
electrum CLAUDE.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured yesterday.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 91 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.

Project Overview
Electrum is a product definition toolkit for software-augmented hardware. It provides a 5-phase AI-assisted workflow (via the /electrum Claude Code skill) that takes a one-sentence product idea through exploration, design, specification and validation, bundled into one HTML page. The toolkit also works without AI — the markdown templates in templates/ can be filled in manually.
Key Commands
# Install dependencies
pip install -r requirements.txt
# Install Playwright browser (needed for image generation)
python -m playwright install chromium
# Run the main workflow (inside Claude Code)
/electrum <product idea in one sentence>
# Run scripts directly
python3.11 scripts/build_html.py output/<slug>
python3.11 scripts/build_docx.py output/<slug> # Word export: cover, contents, documents
python3.11 scripts/block_diagram.py
python3.11 scripts/generate_illustration.py
There is no build system, test suite, or linter. The project is markdown templates + Python scripts.
Architecture
The /electrum Skill (.claude/skills/electrum/SKILL.md)
The core of the project. Defines a 5-phase sequential workflow:
- Explore — Map HW/SW boundary, classify product (static electronic / electromechanical / hybrid), identify risks; propose the domain leads for user approval (
team.md) - High-Level Design — Block diagram (matplotlib PNG) + one-page system overview
- Component Arrangement — Spatial layout diagrams (matplotlib PNG, 2-3 alternatives side-by-side)
- System Description — Full engineering spec (10 sections; §4 one subsection per approved lead, each with a Handoff block), written in two stages, then
executive_summary.mdwritten last from it and placed first in the bundle - Gate Checklist — 103-item PASS/FAIL/N/A validation against
templates/checklist.md
Each phase writes files to output/<slugified-idea>/ and stops for user review before advancing.
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

electrum CLAUDE.md is an instructions file published in the GitHub repository yoelf22/electrum (8 stars, last pushed 2d ago), licensed MIT. It adds 1,181 tokens to every session, about $0.0047 per session on Opus 5.5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-10-26.
