yourssh CLAUDE.md

Project instructions for Yourssh, a Flutter desktop app that runs on macOS, Windows, and Linux.

In plain words
What is it for?
Running and building the Flutter app, checking code quality, running all or individual tests, and regenerating icons from the project’s SVG source files.
Why use it?
They give coding agents the commands and rules needed to run, build, analyze, test, and update the app’s platform icons consistently.

One page per mod, every tool's command on it. A separate URL per tool would split the same page into five that compete with each other.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5 $0.11036 $0.11036
Opus 5 $0.05518 $0.05518
Sonnet 5 $0.02207 $0.02207
Haiku 4.5 $0.01104 $0.01104

Measured 2d ago against content hash 38dd68dfdfd0, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-08-30, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

yourssh CLAUDE.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 2d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Build & Run

# Run (macOS / Windows / Linux)
cd app && flutter run -d macos
cd app && flutter run -d windows
cd app && flutter run -d linux

# Build
cd app && flutter build macos
cd app && flutter build windows
cd app && flutter build linux

# Lint / analyze
cd app && flutter analyze

# Tests
cd app && flutter test
cd app && flutter test test/services/sync_service_test.dart # single test file
cd app && flutter test --name "pattern" # filter by test name

App icon

Every platform icon is generated from the vector masters in assets/branding/ — never hand-edit a PNG/ICO under app/:

python3 tool/gen_app_icons.py # macOS only (rasterises via sips), idempotent

yourssh_icon.svg is the composite artwork (macOS / Windows / legacy Android launcher / in-app); yourssh_icon_{background,foreground,monochrome}.svg are the Android adaptive-icon layers (the foreground glyph is scaled to 0.95 so it stays inside the 66dp-of-108dp safe circle under any OEM mask); yourssh_mark.svg is the bare glyph for docs. The Android background is emitted as a gradient drawable/ic_launcher_background.xml (sharp at any density, ~380 KB smaller than five PNG buckets) with its colours read out of the master SVG. macOS rasters are inset to 824/1024 per Apple's icon grid.

Native RDP library

# Build + copy the Rust dylib/so/dll into packages/yourssh_rdp/assets/native/
bash packages/yourssh_rdp/build.sh # macOS / Linux
pwsh packages/yourssh_rdp/build.ps1 # Windows

# Rust unit tests (no Flutter required)
cargo test --manifest-path packages/yourssh_rdp/rust/Cargo.toml

# Dart package tests (requires the dylib built above)
cd packages/yourssh_rdp && flutter test

# Regenerate the RDP feature screenshots in <repo>/screenshots/ — drives the
# real app against a local xrdp container; needs no macOS screen-recording
# permission (frames captured from the Flutter render tree). Prereqs in the
# test file header.
cd app && flutter test integration_test/rdp_screenshots_test.dart -d macos

# Regenerate the VNC feature screenshots — drives the real app against a local
# x11vnc/TigerVNC container on :5900 (password demo12345; see the test header).
# Manual run, not CI.
cd app && flutter test integration_test/vnc_screenshots_test.dart -d macos

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
