dsh-vision-router: Instructions file for GitHub Copilot

.github/instructions/actions-security.instructions.md

dsh-vision-router actions-security.instructions.md is an instructions file for GitHub Copilot from ysr666/dsh-vision-router. It costs 187 tokens per session, scanned A, original, MIT.

Security rules for reviewing CI workflows and other automated repository jobs. A workflow is an automated process that runs tasks such as tests, builds, or releases.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use them when changing workflow files, permissions, actions, checkout logic, release tags, caches, or artifacts. They require immutable action references and careful handling of secrets and untrusted code.
Why use it?
They reduce supply-chain and privilege risks caused by mutable third-party actions, exposed credentials, unsafe pull-request input, and poisoned caches or artifacts.

About the project

dsh-vision-router is a plugin that lets text-based DeepSeek Harness agents inspect images through a built-in vision service and image-analysis tools. Agents use it for tasks such as answering questions about images, locating elements, reading text, comparing pixels, and tracing or extracting visual content. The catalogue entries support using the plugin within DeepSeek Harness workflows.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00187 $0.00187
Opus 5 $0.00093 $0.00093
Sonnet 5 $0.00037 $0.00037
Haiku 4.5 $0.00019 $0.00019

Security

Grade A, and why

dsh-vision-router actions-security.instructions.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 3d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

Treat workflow changes as supply-chain/security changes.

  • Pin every third-party action to an immutable full commit SHA; comments may name the human-readable version.
  • Keep permissions minimal and explicit. Do not expose write tokens, secrets, OIDC, or release credentials to untrusted pull-request code.
  • Avoid shell interpolation of untrusted PR metadata. Prefer environment variables or structured arguments.
  • Do not dynamically checkout mutable third-party refs as executable code.
  • Keep release tags and npm artifacts bound to an exact verified origin/main SHA.
  • Cache keys and artifacts must not let an untrusted job poison a privileged later job.
  • Scheduled canaries may detect moving upstream releases but must not redefine public support policy.

A workflow review finding should name the privilege or trust-boundary transition that is exploitable or can regress.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
