palugada-cli: Instructions file for Claude Code

CLAUDE.md

palugada-cli CLAUDE.md is an instructions file for Claude Code from yudistirosaputro/palugada-cli. It costs 550 tokens per session, scanned A, original, MIT.

Repository instructions for palugada-cli, a command-line tool that provides indexed engineering context, task-specific skills, and local bridges to services such as Figma and Postman.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use them when searching this Rust CLI project, preparing bug fixes or features, switching profiles, or working with its Figma and Postman bridges.
Why use it?
They tell the coding agent how to find project information efficiently and how the repository's indexed context, profiles, hooks, and integrations are organized.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00550 $0.00550
Opus 5 $0.00275 $0.00275
Sonnet 5 $0.00110 $0.00110
Haiku 4.5 $0.00055 $0.00055

Security

Grade A, and why

palugada-cli CLAUDE.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 9d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Working with palugada

This project uses palugada for token-cheap, always-current engineering context — ask palugada instead of re-reading lots of files.

Before grepping for code (grep/find/rg/Glob), use the index: palugada symbol <name> / palugada fact <family>.

On-demand skills (loaded by trigger):

  • palugada-search — locate code/symbols (use before grep)
  • palugada-bugfix / -feature / -refactor / -review — scoped task packs via palugada brief
  • palugada-figma-to-code — implement UI from Figma via the figma-bridge MCP (free-plan safe)
  • palugada-postman-api — read Postman collections via the postman-bridge MCP (offline-first)

Discover: palugada q --list (conventions) · palugada for --list (recipes) · palugada <cmd> --help. Bound profile: rust-cli — switch with palugada profile use <id> (skills follow the active profile automatically).

MCP bridges (this repo)

.mcp.json registers two local quota-guarding MCP servers from mcp/:

  • figma-bridge — Figma node trees/styles for UI-to-code, cache-first (free plan ≈ 6 file fetches/month). Skill: palugada-figma-to-code.
  • postman-bridge — read Postman collections/environments offline-first (free plan ≈ 300 API calls/month). Skill: palugada-postman-api.

After editing mcp/*/src, rebuild (npm run build) and run node mcp/smoke.mjs. palugada init scaffolds both skills into every project (src/scaffold.rs). The web console's Bridges tab (palugada web) shows quota/cache state.

Auto-index git hooks (this repo)

palugada hook install (src/hook.rs) writes .git/hooks/{post-commit,post-merge,post-checkout,post-rewrite} that re-index in the background when HEAD moves — the exact events that make the index stale (indexer::staleness_note compares HEAD to the indexed sha). Blocks are marked (# >>> palugada auto-index >>>) so they coexist with other hooks and uninstall cleanly. palugada init --hooks installs them during scaffold (opt-in).

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
