miniscira: Instructions file for Codex

AGENTS.md

miniscira AGENTS.md is an instructions file for Codex, OpenCode from zaidmukaddam/miniscira. It costs 1,141 tokens per session, scanned A, original, MIT.

Project rules for a web application built with Bun, Vue, and TypeScript. They document the required checks and important code rules, such as authentication order and safe handling of chat events.

In plain words
What is it for?
Installing dependencies, running type checks, linting, formatting, unit tests, and model-level evaluations while preserving the project's invariants.
Why use it?
They prevent changes from breaking hidden security, event-handling, formatting, or testing assumptions.

This is zaidmukaddam/miniscira's own configuration. It tells Codex and OpenCode how to work on miniscira itself, so it is not a mod to install elsewhere. Copy it as a starting point and replace the rules that are about this project. Everything miniscira configures →

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.01141 $0.01141
Opus 5 $0.00571 $0.00571
Sonnet 5 $0.00228 $0.00228
Haiku 4.5 $0.00114 $0.00114

Security

Grade A, and why

miniscira AGENTS.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 7d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Project conventions

Toolchain

  • Package manager is bun. Install with bun install, run scripts with bun run <script>.
  • Verify changes with bun run typecheck (tsc --noEmit), bun run lint, and bun test (unit tests are *.test.ts beside the code they cover — lib/, components/, hooks/, app/api/, and proxy.test.ts at the root). Model-level evals are evals/*.eval.ts.
  • Formatter and linter are biome (bun run format, bun run check). Do not add prettier or eslint config; they were deliberately removed.

Non-obvious invariants

  • agent/channels/eve.ts — the auth: array is an ordered chain (app session → internal run secret → Vercel OIDC → local-dev). The first entry that resolves wins, so reordering it changes which principal authenticates a request. Do not sort or "tidy" it. Since eve 0.30.0 localDev() keys off the running process, not the request's Host — the loopback-Host hole it used to have is fixed upstream.
  • lib/chat-events.ts — eve's event payloads are not one discriminated union, so eventType() is the only place allowed to read .type off an opaque event. Everything else must go through the exported predicates.
  • lib/lookout-schedule.ts — the lookouts UI only ever emits two UTC cron shapes (M H * * * daily, M H * * D weekly) and the parser assumes it. Emitting any other cron shape from the UI will silently fail to schedule.
  • agent/schedules/lookouts.ts — scheduling is an in-database lease driven by a minute-tick eve schedule. There is no QStash / external queue; some stale comments elsewhere in the code still mention one.
  • app/globals.css imports shadcn/tailwind.css, which supplies the data-open / data-closed Tailwind variants the overlay animations depend on. Do not drop the shadcn dependency or that import.
  • lib/models.ts holds the featured picker list and DEFAULT_CHAT_MODEL; the live model is chosen per turn in agent/agent.ts from the user's picker choice and sent as-is; only its context window is looked up in the AI Gateway catalog. Changing one without the other desyncs context-window math.

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
