TeslaFi MCP — Claude Code cold-start guide

What this is
A Model Context Protocol server that exposes
the TeslaFi API to MCP clients (Claude Desktop, etc.), so
a user can ask an assistant about their vehicle in natural language. It is
packaged both as a plain Node server and as an MCPB extension bundle
(.mcpb) for one-click install into Claude Desktop.
Seven tools: tesla_get_current_data, tesla_get_drives, tesla_get_charges,
tesla_get_trips_for_month, tesla_analyze_home_work_trips,
tesla_get_locations, and tesla_send_command (vehicle control — disabled by
default).
Quick start
Requirements: Node 20+ (18+ runs the built server, but the test toolchain needs 20+), and a TeslaFi API token from https://teslafi.com/api.php.
