MiniClaude: Instructions file for Claude Code

CLAUDE.md

MiniClaude CLAUDE.md is an instructions file for Claude Code from zmylol/MiniClaude. It costs 1,336 tokens per session, scanned A, original, MIT.

A repository instruction file for Claude Code, an AI coding assistant. It lists the project's commands, including dependency setup, code checks, tests, and running a local background service.

In plain words
What is it for?
Installing dependencies, running lint and type checks, executing unit or integration tests, regenerating protocol documentation, starting the service, and sending a test request.
Why use it?
It gives the coding assistant the project's expected commands and workflow, reducing guesswork when changing or checking the code.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.01336 $0.01336
Opus 5 $0.00668 $0.00668
Sonnet 5 $0.00267 $0.00267
Haiku 4.5 $0.00134 $0.00134

Security

Grade A, and why

MiniClaude CLAUDE.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 9d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Architecture

This is a dual-process local AI agent system. mini-core is a persistent daemon; mini and mini-tui are clients that connect to it over a Unix domain socket.

mini-core (daemon)
  └─ listens on 127.0.0.1:7437 (TCP)
       ↑ JSON-RPC 2.0 NDJSON
mini (CLI) mini-tui (TUI, S2+)

mini-tui is the primary frontend. All user-facing work on task management, observability, and interaction should be designed for and validated in the TUI first. The mini CLI exists only for quick scripted testing and debugging — it is not a product surface. When implementing features that touch the user interface, invest in the TUI layout, event rendering, and keyboard interactions. Do not shortcut TUI work by pointing to the CLI as an alternative.

Protocol layer (src/mini_claude/core/bus/)

All IPC messages are typed pydantic v2 models with a discriminated union on the type field. This is the contract boundary — adding a new command or event means adding a new model class to commands.py or events.py and extending the Command/Event union.

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
