Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.01500 | $0.01500 |
| Opus 5.5 | $0.00600 | $0.00600 |
| Sonnet 5.5 | $0.00300 | $0.00300 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00150 | $0.00150 |
Grade A, and why
customgpt-mcp CLAUDE.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 2mo ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 179 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.

Project Overview
This is a comprehensive CustomGPT MCP Server built with FastMCP 2.0 that provides complete access to CustomGPT.ai APIs through the Model Context Protocol. The server implements 49 tools covering all CustomGPT API endpoints for agent management, conversations, analytics, and content control.
Core Architecture
Main Components
server.py- Primary MCP server with 49 comprehensive tools using FastMCP frameworkrequirements.txt- Dependencies:fastmcp,customgpt-client>=1.2.8,python-dotenv, etc..env- Environment configuration (API keys, server settings)docs/- Complete CustomGPT API documentation including OpenAPI spec
Key Design Patterns
FastMCP Tool Structure:
@mcp.tool()
def tool_name(param: type) -> Dict[str, Any]:
"""Tool description."""
response = CustomGPT.Class.method(param)
response_data = extract_response_data(response) # Critical for serialization
return {"success": True, "data": response_data}
Response Handling:
All CustomGPT SDK methods return Response objects that must be extracted to JSON using extract_response_data(response) before returning to avoid serialization errors.
API Key Management: The server pre-configures CustomGPT client on startup from environment variables, eliminating the need for API key parameters in individual tools.
Development Commands
Environment Setup
# Create Python 3.11+ virtual environment (required for FastMCP)
python3.11 -m venv venv
source venv/bin/activate
# Install dependencies
pip install -r requirements.txt
# Configure API key
cp .env.example .env
# Add: CUSTOMGPT_API_KEY=your_key_here
Development Server
# Run MCP server for Claude Code integration
python server.py
# Test server imports and configuration
python -c "from server import mcp; print('✅ Server ready')"
# Run with environment variables
CUSTOMGPT_API_KEY=your_key python server.py
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

customgpt-mcp CLAUDE.md is an instructions file published in the GitHub repository zriyansh/customgpt-mcp (0 stars, last pushed 1y ago), licensed MIT. It adds 1,500 tokens to every session, about $0.0060 per session on Opus 5.5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-31.
