meshy-mcp: Instructions file for Claude Code

CLAUDE.md

meshy-mcp CLAUDE.md is an instructions file for Claude Code from zyadhajaji/meshy-mcp. It costs 1,113 tokens per session, scanned A, original, MIT.

In plain words
What is it for?
Na orientáciu v Node.js a TypeScript projekte, pridávanie nástrojov pre tvorbu a úpravu 3D modelov a prácu s klientom Meshy AI.
Why use it?
Umožňujú pochopiť architektúru projektu pred úpravami a zachovať spôsob, akým server komunikuje cez štandardný vstup a výstup. Objasňujú tiež, kam zaradiť nový nástroj alebo zmenu.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.01113 $0.01113
Opus 5 $0.00557 $0.00557
Sonnet 5 $0.00223 $0.00223
Haiku 4.5 $0.00111 $0.00111

Measured 9d ago against content hash d04236dea40d, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-09-09, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

meshy-mcp CLAUDE.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 9d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What this project is

A Model Context Protocol (MCP) server that gives Claude the ability to generate 3D models and 3D environments using the Meshy AI API. When connected to Claude Desktop or any MCP-compatible client, Claude gains six new tools for 3D generation without leaving the conversation.

This is a pure Node.js TypeScript package — no frontend, no database, no auth layer. It runs as a child process communicating over stdio using the MCP protocol.

Architecture

MCP protocol basics

This server uses @modelcontextprotocol/sdk. Key patterns:

  • ListToolsRequestSchema → returns all tool definitions (name, description, inputSchema)
  • CallToolRequestSchema → receives { name, arguments }, dispatches to the right tool, returns { content: [{ type: "text", text: "..." }] }
  • All communication is over stdio — stdout is the MCP wire protocol, stderr is for logs
  • Never write to stdout directly — always use process.stderr for debug logging

Adding a new tool

  1. Create src/tools/my-tool.ts — export a Zod schema, a typed input, and a tool object { name, description, inputSchema, execute }
  2. Re-export from src/tools/index.ts
  3. Add to ALL_TOOLS array in src/server.ts
  4. Add a case in the switch in src/server.ts
  5. Add to the tool reference in docs/tools.md

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
