Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00400 | $0.00400 |
| Opus 5 | $0.00200 | $0.00200 |
| Sonnet 5 | $0.00080 | $0.00080 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00040 | $0.00040 |
Grade A, and why
scientific-figure-standards CLAUDE.md scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 11d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
What it actually says
Scientific Figure Standards for Claude Code
This repository can be used as a Claude Code skill by installing the whole folder under ~/.claude/skills/scientific-figure-standards or .claude/skills/scientific-figure-standards in a project.
If Claude Code loads this file as project instructions instead of as a skill, follow the same standards in SKILL.md.
Core behavior:
- For any plotting, map, GeoTIFF/raster, model-result chart, manuscript figure, or publication-export task, use the standards in
SKILL.md. - Ask whether output should be
with_text,no_text, or both unless already specified. - Treat
no_textas transparent text placeholders, not deleted text. Create labels/ticks/legends/colorbar text first, then make them invisible while preserving layout. - For world maps, keep concise left-edge latitude and bottom-edge longitude labels. Use
xlocs=[-90, 0, 90],ylocs=[90, 60, 30, 0, -30, -60, -90], unrotated labels, and size about 10. - For submission figures, default to PNG 300 dpi, TIFF 300 dpi, and PDF. Do not default to SVG.
- Use panel labels
a,b,cwithout parentheses for multi-panel submission figures. - For house-style replication, start from
references/template-guide.mdand the nearest file intemplates/. - Read
references/submission-standards.md,references/visual-standards.md,references/map-standards.md, andreferences/data-standards.mdwhen relevant. - Prefer the helper scripts in
scripts/figure_style.pyandscripts/map_style.pyfor Python plotting work. - Preserve the user's house style first; only switch to strict journal/Nature-style variants when explicitly requested.
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

scientific-figure-standards CLAUDE.md is an instructions file published in the GitHub repository zzz20020612/scientific-figure-standards (2 stars, last pushed 3mo ago), licensed MIT. It adds 400 tokens to every session, about $0.0020 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-31.
