What is companies-house?

A local connection to the UK Companies House public register, which contains company, officer, ownership, filing and document records.

Researching UK companies, checking directors and ownership, and finding company filings or public documents.

It lets a coding agent look up official UK company information without manually searching the register. It requires a Companies House API key to run.
