What is mcp-github-projects?

A local connector for GitHub Projects V2, GitHub’s system for organising issues and work items on project boards. It lets an agent interact with those projects through a standard connection.

Use it to work with GitHub Projects V2 from an agent, such as handling project-board information and work items.

It avoids manually moving between the agent and GitHub when managing project-board data. The connector runs on your own computer from a Python package.
