What is database-mcp-postgres?

A local MCP server for connecting an AI agent to a PostgreSQL database. PostgreSQL is a database system used to store and query structured data.

Use it to inspect data in a PostgreSQL database; it requires host, user, password, and database environment variables.

It provides read-only database access by default, limits returned rows and query time, and avoids logging secrets.
