What is music-assistant?

An MCP server that connects an agent to Music Assistant, a music-management service commonly used with Home Assistant. It requires the Music Assistant address and an access token.

Use it when an agent needs to work with a Music Assistant server at a configured URL using an authentication token.

It gives the agent a configured connection to a Music Assistant instance instead of requiring direct, custom integration code.
