What is brainstem-mcp?

A local MCP server that connects coding agents to an Obsidian-compatible wiki, a note system that stores linked pages, with indexed search and controlled information retrieval.

Connecting Claude Code, Cursor, or another MCP host to a local knowledge base for searching and supplying relevant notes.

It gives agents local access to organised project knowledge while limiting how much information is recalled and allowing secure data ingestion.
