What is mcp-zap-server?

A Docker-based MCP server that connects an AI coding agent to OWASP ZAP, a tool for testing web application security.

Running ZAP security-testing workflows from an MCP-compatible agent. It requires Docker, ZAP connection details, and eight environment variables.

It provides a controlled way for the agent to use ZAP through an MCP connection, with API-key security settings and a guided tool surface.
