What is agent-payment?

A local MCP service for Stripe-style billing of APIs with USDC, a cryptocurrency-backed to the US dollar. It supports eight free demo services without signup and is non-custodial, meaning it does not hold users' funds.

Use it to add USDC billing to an API and to try the included free demo services.

It provides a way to charge for API use without requiring the service to custody payment funds. The add-on runs without configured environment variables.
