What is pdf-content-search?

An MCP server for searching the contents of PDF files. It runs as a local program and requires a service token and port setting.

Use it when configuring PDF content search for an MCP client, provided you have the required token.

It can make PDF text searchable through an agent connection, while the configuration records the credentials and network setting needed to start it. The input does not describe any other features.

Install

Getting it into your agent

One page per mod, every tool's command on it. A separate URL per tool would split the same page into five that compete with each other.

Clone the repo

git clone --depth 1 https://github.com/juergenkoller-software/pdf-content-search-mcp

Installing this writes the configuration, not the program: `/usr/local/bin/pdf-content-search-mcp` has to be on your PATH already, or the server will not start.
