What is localstack-mcp-server?

A local server that gives coding agents tools for developing and testing cloud applications with LocalStack, a local imitation of AWS services. It runs through an npm package and requires environment variables for access and configuration.

Use it when an agent needs to work with LocalStack or local cloud-development and testing tasks, including setups that use AWS credentials, regions, or replication settings.

It lets you test cloud-related code on your computer instead of relying entirely on live AWS services. This can make local development and testing easier to configure.
