What is code-index-mcp?

A local MCP server that indexes and analyzes source code for language models. Code indexing organizes a codebase so relevant files and relationships can be examined more easily.

It is for creating a searchable code index and supporting analysis of source code.

It helps an agent work with a codebase without relying only on isolated file reads or guesses about where related code is located.
