An MCP server that lets compatible AI coding tools search YouTube, read video details, and extract timestamped transcripts. It runs locally through the scribefy-mcp npm package and requires an API key.

Use it to search videos, inspect metadata, retrieve transcripts, and use YouTube content from Claude Desktop, Cursor, Windsurf, or another MCP client.

It gives an AI tool access to searchable video information and spoken content without manually copying transcripts. The API key connects it to the Scribefy service.
