What is claude-ide-bridge?

A local MCP bridge that connects Claude Code with an editor and development tools. It provides tools for language services, debugging, terminals, Git, and GitHub through the claude-ide-bridge npm package.

Use it to start the bridge for a workspace and support code navigation, diagnostics, debugging, terminal commands, Git work, and GitHub operations.

It lets the agent perform common coding and editor tasks from one local connection. This avoids manually moving between separate development tools for related work.
