What is okta-workspace-mcp?

A local connector that lets a coding agent work with an Okta organisation, an identity and access management service. It runs through the npm package and requires Okta settings supplied as environment variables.

Use it when an agent needs to connect to an Okta organisation through the Model Context Protocol (MCP), a standard way for tools to provide context to AI agents.

It gives the agent a configured connection to Okta without requiring the connector to run as a hosted service. The setup still requires several organisation, OAuth, browser, and configuration settings.
