What is financial-data-gateway?

A local MCP server that gathers financial information from services including Alpha Vantage, FRED, Finnhub, and the SEC’s company filings database. It requires four API or identification settings to run.

Running a local gateway for market data, economic data, company information, and SEC filing data.

It brings several financial data sources behind one agent connection, so the agent does not need separate integrations for each source.

Install

Getting it into your agent

One page per mod, every tool's command on it. A separate URL per tool would split the same page into five that compete with each other.

Clone the repo

git clone --depth 1 https://github.com/ranjittilekar/financial-data-gateway-mcp

Installing this writes the configuration, not the program: `python` runs a file from the repository, so clone it first and make the path in the command match where you put it.
