An MCP server that lets an AI agent work with GitHub through the GitHub API. It supports repository management, code search and reading, and creating issues and pull requests.

Use it to search repository code, read files, create issues and pull requests, and manage repositories from the agent.

It allows the agent to perform those GitHub tasks through tools instead of switching manually between the coding environment and GitHub. It requires a GitHub personal access token supplied through the GITHUB_TOKEN environment variable.
