What is backstage-idp?

A plugin for engineering work on Spotify Backstage developer portals. Backstage is an open-source platform for building an internal portal where teams find software, documentation, templates, and services.

Use it for Backstage frontend and backend plugins, the Software Catalog, Scaffolder templates, TechDocs, search, authentication, authorization, integrations, testing, upgrades, debugging, and security.

Backstage projects combine portal pages, backend code, software catalogues, templates, documentation, and integrations. This plugin groups specialized workflows for those areas.
