What is webfetch-cache?

A session cache for repeated web requests with the same web address and prompt. It returns the saved result instead of making another network request.

It helps when an agent fetches the same page or resource more than once. You can set how long results stay fresh and how many pairs are kept.

It avoids waiting for and repeating identical requests during one session. Cached results expire after a set time and are limited in number.
