What is branch-guard?

A Git and GitHub command approval guard that automatically allows routine safe actions and asks for confirmation before protected-branch or destructive actions.

Use it when working with Git, GitHub, branches, worktrees, commits, pushes, rebases, merges, and other commands that need different safety levels.

It reduces repeated approval prompts during normal development while adding a checkpoint before operations that could damage shared branches or lose work.
