What is rails-hotwire-driver?

A tool for driving a local Ruby on Rails development server from the terminal. Rails is a web application framework, and Hotwire is its system for dynamic page updates using Turbo and Stimulus.

Use it to submit forms, inspect Turbo responses, connect requests to logs, bridge terminal and browser sessions, and optionally capture screenshots or compare page structure.

It helps test and debug browser-like interactions while handling details such as form security tokens, login codes from logs, streamed page updates, and shared sessions.
