What is adversarial-review?

A skeptical code-review process that examines a change against the agreed requirements and questions whether those requirements are sound. It uses independent reviewers and a separate check to remove false alarms before reporting findings.

Use it before merging code when you want an independent review of correctness, quality, and security.

It helps uncover missed defects, security issues, and flawed assumptions that a routine review may overlook.
