What is bob-companion?

A Claude Code companion for the IBM Bob task board, a shared system for managing coding tasks. It includes a self-contained MCP server, which lets Claude Code exchange task information with the board.

It helps provision the board, route and triage tasks, and drain tasks by having Claude Code act as a foreman or worker.

It lets Claude Code coordinate work across repositories through one shared task board, reducing manual task handoffs.
