What is sap-api-policy?

A plugin for evidence-based checks of whether SAP API or interface use follows the SAP API Policy, version 4.2026a. An API is a defined way for software to request data or actions from another system.

Use it to assess published, internal, private, or confidential APIs, documented use, and integrations involving third-party tools or integration platforms.

It helps distinguish permitted, documented uses from private or unsupported access. This reduces the risk of building an integration that violates SAP’s rules.
