What is phoenix-sast-rules?

A generator for Semgrep or OpenGrep static-analysis rules, which scan source code for suspicious patterns without running the application. It supports pattern and data-flow rules for more than 30 languages, and can research a CVE or CWE before creating a targeted rule.

Use it to write rules for vulnerability patterns, trace risky data flows, or create detections based on a CVE or CWE.

It lets teams turn a known weakness or security issue into a repeatable code check. This can help detect the same problem in future changes and across supported languages.
