What is obsidian-cli?

A command tool for Obsidian, a note-taking app that stores linked Markdown notes in a vault. It handles notes, metadata, links, tasks, searches, and other vault content.

Use it to find, read, create, or update notes; manage daily notes, tags, properties, templates, and tasks; and inspect links, orphan notes, graph data, plugins, themes, or vault structure.

It helps automate work across an Obsidian vault instead of manually opening and editing many notes. It is useful when relationships between notes and their metadata matter.
