An MCP server that solves garbled text when AI coding assistants read and write GBK/GB18030 files in Chinese Windows environments. It automatically detects file encoding and converts it to UTF-8 when reading, then converts it back to the original encoding when writing, preserving the file encoding. Supports UTF-8 (including BOM), GBK, GB2312, GB18030, and other encodings. Provides five tools, including read, write, edit, and encoding-record queries, guided by a PreToolUse Hook or system prompt.
