- MGnify MCP Server implements the Model Context Protocol to expose MGnify’s metagenomics API as tools/resources for AI clients. Use it from Claude Desktop (stdio) or as a local SSE/HTTP service to search studies, retrieve run metadata, and list analyses with minimal setup.
These files are MGS-sails/mgnify-mcp's own configuration. They tell Claude Code how to work on this repository, so they are not mods to install elsewhere. Copy one as a starting point and replace the parts that are about this project.
