Microsoft 365 Agents SDK is a C# and .NET software development kit for building agents that interact with users across Microsoft 365, Teams, Copilot Studio, Webchat, and selected third-party services. Developers use it to handle conversations, coordinate requests, generate responses, and enable collaboration between agents. The catalogue entries provide coding-agent instructions and agents for working with this SDK.
These files are microsoft/Agents-for-net's own configuration. They tell Claude Code and GitHub Copilot how to work on this repository, so they are not mods to install elsewhere. Copy one as a starting point and replace the parts that are about this project.
