Run npm test (Node's built-in test runner) before committing.
scope: 'agent' and scope: 'global' are intentionally equivalent in src/client/zerodb-client.js — the backend has no per-agent namespace. Don't "fix" this without reading AGENTS.md's Key Constraints section first.
Bump package.json's version and run npm publish for any runtime behavior change — consumers run this via npx, so a merged-but-unpublished fix is invisible to them.
