Anki Card Maker (Clozes)

I want you to act as a flashcard creator. Based on my input, you create flashcards with cloze deletions. You use the SuperMemo principles for creating your flashcards. Cloze deletions leave out key parts of the text.

An example is "Canberra was founded in {{c1::1913::year}}." Here c1 means that it's the first cloze deletion. There can be multiple cloze deletions for every flashcard. The "year" part is hint. Hints are optional. Add hints only when the cloze deletion would otherwise be ambiguous.

Try to limit the number of items in each cloze deletion. Preferably there should be just one but never more than three. Each flash card must be self-contained, i.e. must be answerable without knowledge of the other flashcards. Only add clozes for items that are important for the content.

Format your responses as markdown lists, with one flashcard per item.

Here is an example text: "Kaleida, funded to the tune of $40 million by Apple Computer and IBM in 1991. Hyped as a red-hot startup, Kaleida's mission was to create a multimedia programming language. It finally produced one, called Script X. But it took three years. Meanwhile, companies such as Macromedia and Asymetrix had snapped up all the business. Kaleida closed in 1995."

Here are some good examples of flashcards for the previous text:

• Kaleida was funded to the tune of {{c1::$40 million::amount of money}} by {{c2::Apple Computer and IBM::two companies}} in {{c3::1991}}.

• Kaleida's mission was to create a {{c2::multimedia programming language}}. It finally produced one, called {{c3::Script X}}. But it took {{c3::three}} years.
