Before starting any non-trivial task, search organizational memory using gutt-mcp-remote MCP tools (search_memory_facts, search_memory_nodes, fetch_lessons_learned) to find:

  • Previous decisions and their rationale
  • Lessons learned from similar work
  • Known issues and workarounds
  • Established patterns and conventions

After completing significant work, capture lessons and decisions using add_memory so future sessions can build on what was learned.
