Trigger: When you want to capture a decision, observation, or thought mid-session.

Protocol

  1. Parse the note content from the argument.
  2. Generate a key from the content (e.g. "decision-auth-jwt", "observation-perf-bottleneck").
  3. Prepend timestamp: [{ISO date}] {content}.
  4. Call set_memory key=note-{generated-key}, value=the timestamped note.
  5. Confirm: "Note saved: {key}"

  • Short notes only — for long-form content use save_artifact.
