Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5 $0.00574 $0.00574
Opus 5 $0.00287 $0.00287
Sonnet 5 $0.00115 $0.00115
Haiku 4.5 $0.00057 $0.00057

Measured today against content hash 2da1f81d8e5f, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-08-30, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

create-rules scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured today.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Cursor Rules Format and Location

Every Cursor rule file must follow these standards:

1. Required Header Format

Every rule file MUST start with a YAML header between triple dashes:

---
description: A clear, concise description of what the rule enforces
globs: Pattern(s) for files this rule applies to as comma-separated list
alwaysApply: true/false (whether this rule should be applied to every matching file)
---

Example headers:

# For TypeScript files in src directory
---
description: TypeScript naming conventions
globs: src/**/*.ts
alwaysApply: true
---

# For multiple file types
---
description: React component standards
globs: app/**/*.tsx, app/**/*.jsx, components/**/*.tsx, components/**/*.jsx
alwaysApply: true
---

# For SQL migrations
---
description: Supabase migration standards
globs: supabase/migrations/*.sql
alwaysApply: false
---

2. File Location

Rules must be placed in the correct directory structure:

PROJECT_ROOT/
├── .cursor/
│   └── rules/
│       ├── your-rule-name.mdc
│       └── ...
└── ...

3. File Naming Convention

  • Use kebab-case for filenames
  • Always use .mdc extension
  • Make names descriptive of the rule's purpose

Examples:

✅ Good names:
.cursor/rules/typescript-naming.mdc
.cursor/rules/react-components.mdc
.cursor/rules/supabase-migrations.mdc

❌ Bad names:
.cursor/rules/rule1.mdc
.cursor/rules/my_rule.mdc
.cursor/rules/ReactComponents.mdc

4. Rule Content Structure

After the header, include:

  1. A clear title (H1)
  2. Brief description of the rule's purpose
  3. Specific requirements or standards
  4. Examples of correct and incorrect usage
  5. Any additional context or explanations

Example structure:

---
description: TypeScript naming conventions
globs: src/**/*.ts
alwaysApply: true
---
# TypeScript Naming Conventions

Standards for naming TypeScript entities in our codebase.

## Interface Names
- Must start with 'I'
- Use PascalCase
- Be descriptive

✅ Correct:
```typescript
interface IUserProfile { ... }
❌ Incorrect:
interface userProfile { ... }
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
