- Use Error Trigger or error outputs to handle failures; avoid logging sensitive data in error messages.
- Enable Retry On Fail with delay for external calls; use idempotency keys for write operations to avoid duplicate side effects on retry.
- Store workflows in version control (Git); use versioned names for production (e.g. production-workflow-v1).
- Prefer clear node names and notes so workflows are understandable without opening every node.
- Keep workflows readable: group related nodes, use subflows or Execute Sub-workflow for complex logic rather than one giant graph.
