Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.01410 $0.01410
Opus 5 $0.00705 $0.00705
Sonnet 5 $0.00282 $0.00282
Haiku 4.5 $0.00141 $0.00141

Measured 3d ago against content hash 218d9795ff1e, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-09-07, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

mkdocs scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 3d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

mkdocs Best Practices

This guide establishes the definitive standards for writing and maintaining documentation using MkDocs, especially with the Material for MkDocs theme. Adhere to these rules to ensure consistency, readability, and maintainability across all our projects.

1. Code Organization & Structure

Always organize your documentation for logical navigation and maintainability.

1.1 Root Structure

Place mkdocs.yml at the project root, and all Markdown source files within a top-level docs/ directory. The homepage must be index.md.

❌ BAD:

my-project/
├── docs/
│ ├── mkdocs.yml # mkdocs.yml should be at project root
│ └── homepage.md # Homepage should be index.md

✅ GOOD:

my-project/
├── mkdocs.yml
└── docs/
    ├── index.md
    └── user-guide/
        └── getting-started.md

1.2 Navigation Ordering

Control navigation explicitly using the mkdocs-awesome-pages-plugin and .pages files. Never rely on default alphabetical ordering.

❌ BAD:

# mkdocs.yml
nav:
  - Home: index.md
  - API: api.md
  - Setup: setup.md # Order is alphabetical, not logical

✅ GOOD:

# docs/.pages
nav:
  - Home: index.md
  - Setup: setup.md
  - API: api.md
  - ... # Include remaining pages automatically

2. Markdown Style & Content

Enforce a strict Markdown style for readability and consistency, ideally with markdownlint.

2.1 Headings Hierarchy

Use a single H1 (#) per page for the main title. Subsequent headings must follow a strict, sequential hierarchy (H2, H3, etc.). Never skip heading levels.

❌ BAD:

# My Page Title
### A Sub-section # Skipped H2

✅ GOOD:

# My Page Title
## Introduction
### Key Concepts

2.2 Line Length

Limit text lines to 80 characters for improved readability and diffs. Exceptions are allowed for long URLs, tables, and code blocks.

❌ BAD:

This is a very long line of text that exceeds eighty characters and makes it difficult to read and review, especially in side-by-side diffs.

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
