acbr-patterns

acbr-patterns is a cursor rule for Cursor from SecondLifes/delphi-expert. It costs 0 tokens per session (729 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A set of project rules for using ACBr fiscal components in Delphi applications. ACBr is a software suite commonly used for Brazilian commercial and tax operations.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it when building or reviewing Delphi applications that use ACBr components.
Why use it?
It keeps fiscal components separated from user-interface code and sets rules for configuration, memory, and error handling.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5 $0.00000 $0.00729
Opus 5 $0.00000 $0.00365
Sonnet 5 $0.00000 $0.00146
Haiku 4.5 $0.00000 $0.00073

Security

Grade A, and why

acbr-patterns scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured today.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

ACBr Project — Rules

Use these rules when working with components from the ACBr Project suite (Commercial Automation Brazil) in Delphi applications.

Isolation and Standards (SOLID)

  • Do not instantiate or attach ACBr components directly to UI forms (e.g. placing a TACBrNFe inside TfrmEmissao).
  • Create abstractions or Service classes (ex: TNFeService) in Domain/Infra Modules that encapsulate TACBrNFe.
  • The form should only trigger one interface, for example: INFeService.Emitir(Nota).

Memory Management

  • ACBr components created dynamically in Services always must be released appropriately (Try/Finally or created as Child of DataModules maintained by injection).
//Encapsulated dynamic creation example
var
  LAcbrNFe: TACBrNFe;
begin
  LAcbrNFe := TACBrNFe.Create(nil);
  try
    //Settings and usage
    LAcbrNFe.Configuracoes.Certificados.NumeroSerie := 'XYZ';
  finally
    LAcbrNFe.Free;
  end;
end;

Dynamic Settings

  • Avoid reading from .ini files via UI. Load the configurations via a system configuration layer (IConfiguration) and inject it into the service that encapsulates the ACBr.

Error and Return Handling

  • Catch ACBr specific exceptions when possible.
  • Convert long component returns (e.g. status, rejection reasons) into application Object Results/Records instead of tying the application to the component's natural formatting string.

Signing/Crypto Library Abstraction (OpenSSL vs WinCrypt)

Isolate the SSL/crypto library choice per target OS (e.g. Linux Docker vs Windows) inside the wrapper service — configure it always via code, dynamically, never fixed at design time:

LAcbrNFe.Configuracoes.Geral.SSLLib := libWinCrypt; // or libOpenSSL per platform

TEF Callbacks and Events

TACBrTEFD works heavily through VCL events (OnExibeMensagem, OnAguardaDigitacao). Keep the component in the Business/Gateway layer by injecting a generic presentation handler, so headless/REST scenarios can override the "draw to screen" part:

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

acbr-patterns is a cursor rule published in the GitHub repository SecondLifes/delphi-expert (3 stars, last pushed 3d ago), licensed MIT. It costs nothing until one of its globs matches a file; then it loads 729 tokens. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-09-03.
