DelphiMVCFramework — Rules

Use these rules when developing with DelphiMVCFramework (DMVC).

Controller

• Herda de TMVCController
• Routes via attributes: [MVCPath], [MVCHTTPMethod]
• Return via Render() (automatic JSON)
• Path parameters: ($id) no attribute

Middleware

• Register via FMVCEngine.AddMiddleware(...)
• CORS: TMVCCORSMiddleware.Create
• JWT: TMVCJWTAuthenticationMiddleware.Create

Prohibitions in DMVC

• ❌ Access TFDConnection directly from the controller
• ❌ Response.Content manual — use Render()
• ❌ Manual JSON serialization — DMVC automatically serializes
• ❌ Controller without route attributes
