In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to turn scripts or ideas into reusable skills, improve existing skills, and create related plugin components such as hooks, commands, subagents, or integrations.
Why use it?
It helps authors decide when a skill is appropriate and check that the instructions, safety boundaries, and supporting files are complete and usable.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00100 $0.01459
Opus 5.5 $0.00040 $0.00584
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00020 $0.00292
Haiku 4.5 $0.00010 $0.00146

Security

Grade A, and why

review-pr scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 1mo ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Comprehensive PR Review

Run a comprehensive pull request review using multiple specialist checklists, each focusing on a different aspect of code quality.

The user may optionally name specific review aspects to run (e.g. "tests", "errors", "comments", "types", "code", "simplify", or "all"). If they don't, run all applicable reviews.

Review Workflow

1. Determine Review Scope

  • Check git status to identify changed files
  • Parse any user-specified review aspects
  • Default: run all applicable reviews

2. Available Review Aspects

  • comments - Analyze code comment accuracy and maintainability
  • tests - Review test coverage quality and completeness
  • errors - Check error handling for silent failures
  • types - Analyze type design and invariants (if new types added)
  • code - General code review for project guidelines
  • simplify - Simplify code for clarity and maintainability
  • all - Run all applicable reviews (default)

3. Identify Changed Files

  • Run git diff --name-only to see modified files
  • Check if a PR already exists (e.g. gh pr view)
  • Identify file types and which reviews apply

4. Determine Applicable Reviews

Based on changes:

  • Always applicable: code-reviewer (general quality)
  • If test files changed: pr-test-analyzer
  • If comments/docs added: comment-analyzer
  • If error handling changed: silent-failure-hunter
  • If types added/modified: type-design-analyzer
  • After passing review: code-simplifier (polish and refine)

5. Launch Review Agents

Each specialist's full checklist lives in references/specialists/: code-reviewer.md, pr-test-analyzer.md, comment-analyzer.md, silent-failure-hunter.md, type-design-analyzer.md, code-simplifier.md.

  • On a platform with subagent/parallel-task dispatch (e.g. Claude Code's Task tool): dispatch each applicable specialist (references/specialists/*.md) as its own subagent — in parallel if the user asked for a fast comprehensive review, or sequentially if not.
  • On a platform without subagent dispatch: work through each applicable specialist's checklist yourself in the same order, one at a time, noting its findings before moving to the next.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
