ramsey-karp-fpt

ramsey-karp-fpt is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from 8b-is/smart-tree. It costs 95 tokens per session (1,107 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A code-analysis tool for finding patterns and possible bugs in how parts of a program depend on one another. It focuses on graph problems, such as import links, calls, type relationships, and cycles.

In plain words
What is it for?
It is for static analysis of code structure, including dependency graphs, call cycles, and other graph-based checks.
Why use it?
It helps inspect complicated code relationships without manually tracing every connection. The description does not provide enough detail to state exactly which findings it reports.

Written for no agent in particular: nothing here depends on one. Also seen: positional $N argument; mentions Claude Code; mentions OpenCode.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00095 $0.01107
Opus 5.5 $0.00038 $0.00443
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00019 $0.00221
Haiku 4.5 $0.00010 $0.00111

Security

Grade A, and why

ramsey-karp-fpt scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 2d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Ramsey, Erdős–Hajnal & Karp-21 FPT Engine (smart-tree v10.10.0+)

"Complete disorder is impossible." — Ramsey Theory (Paul Erdős, 1935–1989)

ramsey-karp-fpt (src/mem8/regularity/ramsey_erdos_hajnal.rs & salience_karp_manybody.rs) turns NP-complete graph problems into sub-millisecond static analysis over the 5-color AST symbol graph (Import, CallRef, TraitImpl, TypeBound, MutableShared) plus the 6th anti-color $c_\emptyset$.

1. 256-Bit Bitboard Bron–Kerbosch & Erdős–Hajnal Bi-Cliques

  1. Matula–Beck Degeneracy Ordering ($d \ll n$): Computes $(v_1, \dots, v_n)$ in $O(|V| + |E|)$ bucket-queue time so every forward monochromatic neighborhood $N_c^+(v_i)$ has size $\le d \le 255$.
  2. BitSet256([u64; 4]) Hardware Bitboard: Executes Tomita-pivoted Bron–Kerbosch set intersections ($P \cap N(u)$, $X \cap N(u)$) in four CPU AND + felix_popcnt_u64 / felix_tzcnt_u64 instructions with zero heap allocations inside the recursion.
  3. Erdős–Moser Tournament vs. Cyclic Deadlock Knot (CliqueTopology):
    • TransitiveTournament ($\vec{T}_k^{(c)}$): Clean acyclic compilation/call pipeline.
    • CyclicDeadlockKnot: Mutual lock/call cycle; emits feedback_back_edges (Minimum Feedback Arc Set) and RefactorPrescription::BreakDeadlockCycle or FlattenCircularImports.
  4. Fox–Sudakov / Rödl Pure & Almost-Pure Bi-Cliques (ErdosHajnalBiClique):
    • Pure Bi-Clique ($d_c(A, B) = 1.0$): $|A|$ structs all depend on the exact same $|B|$ targets $\rightarrow$ ExtractSharedTraitFacade.
    • Almost-Pure Bi-Clique ($1 - \delta \le d_c(A, B) < 1.0$): Pinpoints API Conformance Bugs via missing_anomaly_edges — the exact pair $(a^, b^)$ where struct $a^$ forgot to implement or call sibling method $b^$.

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

ramsey-karp-fpt is a skill published in the GitHub repository 8b-is/smart-tree (272 stars, last pushed yesterday), licensed MIT. It adds 95 tokens to every session and 1,107 once invoked, about $0.0004 per session on Opus 5.5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-11-04.
