cross-artifact-analysis

cross-artifact-analysis is a skill for Claude Code from a5c-ai/babysitter. It costs 36 tokens per session (355 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

An analysis that compares a project's constitution, specification, plan, and tasks to find missing requirements, conflicts, and broken links between them.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to build a traceability matrix, check acceptance criteria, assess consistency, and decide whether implementation is ready.
Why use it?
It reveals gaps before coding starts, such as a requirement that has no implementation task or a plan that violates project rules.

About the project

Babysitter is a workflow engine for AI coding agents that enforces predefined steps, quality checks, human approvals, and decision records. It is used to coordinate complex, repeatable agent workflows across supported coding tools. The catalogue contains skills, agents, instructions, settings, a plugin, and an MCP integration for its workflow.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00036 $0.00355
Opus 5 $0.00018 $0.00178
Sonnet 5 $0.00007 $0.00071
Haiku 4.5 $0.00004 $0.00036

Security

Grade A, and why

cross-artifact-analysis scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 9d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

  • When verifying that all specification requirements have corresponding tasks
  • When checking for contradictions between constitution and plan
  • When assessing readiness for the implementation phase

Key Principle

Every specification requirement must be traceable through the plan to at least one task. No artifact should contradict another. Coverage gaps and conflicts must be resolved before implementation.

Process

  1. Build traceability matrix - Map requirements -> plan components -> tasks
  2. Detect coverage gaps - Requirements without corresponding tasks
  3. Identify conflicts - Contradictory constraints or requirements across artifacts
  4. Verify constitution compliance - Plan and tasks comply with governance
  5. Check acceptance criteria - Task criteria match specification requirements
  6. Score consistency - Numeric score (0-100) across dimensions
  7. Determine readiness - Boolean assessment for implementation phase
  8. Human review - Approve analysis results before proceeding

What ships with it

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
