Getting it into your agent

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00133 | $0.04125 |
| Opus 5.5 | $0.00053 | $0.01650 |
| Sonnet 5.5 | $0.00027 | $0.00825 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00013 | $0.00413 |
Grade A, and why
design scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 3d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 181 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.
Design a page locally
You and the user design a page here, on this computer. You write it as one Custom HTML block in a folder, show it in a local preview, and change it until the user is happy. Nothing in this skill touches a website. When the user wants the page on their site, that is the ai-canvas:publish skill, and only on their word.
bash "${CLAUDE_PLUGIN_ROOT}/scripts/canvas.sh" <command> DIR
DIR is the page's folder. The script lints, builds previews, serves them, snapshots, and checks color contrast. It needs only bash and the system's standard tools.
Where a page lives
One folder per page, inside an ai-canvas folder in a place the user picks:
<where the user said>/ai-canvas/<page-slug>/
├── block.html the page: one complete Custom HTML block. The only file you edit.
├── preview/ built by `canvas.sh preview`. Never edit.
├── history/ snapshots from `canvas.sh keep`
└── site.txt written by the publish skill once the page is on a site
Ask the user where to save it, in the same round as the brief: "Where on your computer should I keep this page's files? Your Desktop is fine." The Desktop gives ~/Desktop/ai-canvas/<page-slug>/. If they leave it to you, use the Desktop and say so. Never default to the folder Claude Code happens to be running in, and never write into this plugin's own folder: a session can be started from anywhere, and that place is often somewhere you are not allowed to write.
Ask once. The user's next page goes in the same ai-canvas folder without asking. In a later session, when you do not know where their pages are, look for an ai-canvas folder on the Desktop and in Documents before asking again.
The slug is short, lowercase, and hyphenated (spring-launch). If site.txt exists the page is already on a site: your changes stay local until it is published again, so say "this is your local copy; your site still shows the earlier version" when you show one.
A page that is on the site but has no folder here: bring it down first with the publish skill's "Bring a page down".
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

design is a skill published in the GitHub repository a8cteam51/claude-code-plugins (5 stars, last pushed 2d ago), licensed MIT. It adds 133 tokens to every session and 4,125 once invoked, about $0.0005 per session on Opus 5.5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-10-13.
